Otherscapes

Otherscapes is an Audio-Visual collaboration between Dani Wiliamson and Hagai Izenberg. Light itself is a powerful tool, which when combined with sound, can transform and create new spaces. Projected images of various environments and live video mix with fresh raw sound materials including field recordings of our everyday routine, samples and loops from tv & radio, news editions and advertisements, to create new sonic and visual landscapes.

Dani Williamson is a Haifa-based creator working across the fields of film / video art / installation / music to make digital, interactive, and celluloid experimental works which primarily explore questions of “place-ness” and the phenomenology of the in-between.

Hagai Izenberg works under the project name Radio Concrete, a Cinematic radio concert where “ready made” audio materials are being recontextualised as they detach from their origin. It has been broadcasted at Resonance Extra (UK), Radio Manobras (PT) and WGXC (NY).
